Unissued collection of rare airchecks from the Robert Bierman collection. The set actually begins in March of 1938, when Gene guested on Tommy Dorsey's radio show to hype the formation of his new band. Other sessions are from the Chamber Music Society of Lower Basin Street, the Fred Allen Show, Matinee at the Meadowbrook, Fitch Bandwagon and two, very rare sessions from the 1950 Ted Steele television show, and a 1947 air shot from the Click Club.
