This is the very, very, very rare soundtrack to a summer replacement television series hosted by trumpeter Al Hirt on ABC-TV during the summer of 1965. Guests on this first in the series were Eydie Gorme', Shari Lewis, Johnny Tillotson, The Travelors, The Gene Krupa Jazz Quartet and the Mort Lindsay's orchestra. Superb fidelity thoughout. Al Hirt, rest his soul, was a better player than given credit for. Gene plays Dark Eyes with Carmen Leggio and the gang, and a wild version of Sing Sing Sing with the full, Mort Lindsay Orchestra; and joins Al and Eydie for a few numbers in the finale.
