Out-of-print since the mid-1960s, and likely to stay that way, Jazz at the Philharmonic Volume 10 was one of the most exciting JATP shows. Recorded in Hartford, CT, in 1954, this was Dizzy Gillespie's first JATP show, and the only appearances that we know of of Buddy DeFranco and Lionel Hampton. The gang includes Dizzy, Roy Eldridge, Flip Phillips, Bill Harris, Ben Webster, the Peterson Trio, Louis Bellson, DeFranco, Hampton and others. A two-CD set.
